Qatargas is the largest liquified natural gas (LNG) operator in the world. Established in 1984, it now operates 14 LNG purification and liquification trains with the capacity to produce 77 million tons of LNG. In addition to producing LNG, the company is also a leading exporter of natural gas, helium, condensate and associated products. To support this operation Datanet Global has partnered with Speedcast-Salam to provide the newest VSAT technology and operate a local network with high availability of Certified VSAT Engineers and service. Since contract award we have delivered services to 14 offshore locations and continue to manage and maintain these. Currently the network delivers over a 135 Mbps to all remote stations delivered by a new built HUB station at Qatargas Ras Laffan facility. We continue to grow our team to support this project and are ready to support Qatargas increasing operations.
